Our Health,
Our Choice,
Our Way.
Aboriginal Health Council of South Australia Limited (AHCSA) is the peak body representing Aboriginal community-controlled health services in South Australia. Our primary role is to be the ‘health voice’ for all Aboriginal people in South Australia by advocating for the Community and providing support for Aboriginal health programs.
We uphold Aboriginal health in Aboriginal hands by providing strong and strategic peak body leadership for South Australia.
We advocate for communities and our Members, strengthen and sustain the Aboriginal Community Controlled Health sector, and work with governments and partners to drive system‑wide reform. We support Member Services to deliver high‑quality, culturally grounded health and wellbeing services, nurture the next generation of leaders, and build a skilled, culturally strong Aboriginal health workforce.
